ABOUT THE ARTIST
Bozena Kot is a contemporary painter whose work explores the interplay of memory, matter, and light. Rooted in abstraction and expressive texture, her practice creates dynamic surfaces where traces of past experiences, layered paint, and subtle shifts of colour evoke movement and temporality. Her paintings often suggest transitional states - suspended between what has been and what is yet to come - inviting viewers into a reflective and immersive experience.

ARTWORK STORY
“Horizon of Changes” is a diptych created using my own technique on canvas. Subtle textures and transparent colours reveal the natural fabric weave, blending turquoise, earthy browns, greys, and sandy tones. Organic green forms anchor the composition, evoking stillness, openness, and quiet transformation. Varnished for protection and presented in an American box frame, 123.5 × 83.2 × 3.5 cm, the artwork is ready to hang and available exclusively framed.
