ABOUT THE ARTIST
Bozena Kot is a contemporary painter whose work explores the interplay of memory, matter, and light. Rooted in abstraction and expressive texture, her practice creates dynamic surfaces where traces of past experiences, layered paint, and subtle shifts of colour evoke movement and temporality. Her paintings often suggest transitional states - suspended between what has been and what is yet to come - inviting viewers into a reflective and immersive experience.

ARTWORK STORY
“Spaces” explores the shifting boundaries between inner and outer landscapes. Combining oil and acrylic, I build a richly textured surface through layered glazes and expressive marks. Intense blues contrast with warm rust-orange tones, while translucent whites create atmospheric depth, movement, and a sense of contemplative openness.
Artwork size: 100 × 100 × 2.2 cm | Framed size: 103.5 × 103.5 × 3.5 cm.
Available for purchase exclusively framed in a black American box frame.
