ABOUT THE ARTIST
Bozena Kot is a contemporary painter whose work explores the interplay of memory, matter, and light. Rooted in abstraction and expressive texture, her practice creates dynamic surfaces where traces of past experiences, layered paint, and subtle shifts of colour evoke movement and temporality. Her paintings often suggest transitional states - suspended between what has been and what is yet to come - inviting viewers into a reflective and immersive experience.

ARTWORK STORY
“Illusions 13” is a mixed-media work on HDF exploring memory, light, and perception. Deep blacks and violets contrast with subtle highlights and layered textures. A fragment of jute fabric and fine glitter particles add depth and a delicate shimmer. Varnished for protection and presented in a black frame, the artwork is ready to hang and available exclusively framed.
