ABOUT THE ARTIST

Seduced by color my paintings are inspired by the landscape where i live. My pallet is vibrant and colorful with lots of texture. I almost always work in oils in an abstract impressionist style. I'm an Irish artist from the southwest of Ireland on the Wild Atlantic coast . I have always lived in the countryside and flowers and hedgerow and the sea are an integral part of my paintings. Over the years i have found myself exploring more abstract ways to paint and painting abstract florals allows me to interpret natural beauty creatively. I love abstract floral paintings in the kitchen because i think it brings the outside in. I enjoy creating something new and hope you enjoy looking around my my page.

A wild Atlantic wave in colors of blue and green on the wild atlantic southwest coast of Ireland . This is painted with artist oil colors on canvas with lots of texture and vibrancy. The colors vary in the Atlantic ocean according to the weather and sky so can be different every day. I love the blue and green colors of this sea that is painted with brush and it can be hung as is or framed in a box frame as shown in the image. The deep edges of the canvas are left white and its ready to hang.
