ABOUT THE ARTIST

Alessandra Bisi is an abstract painter. After traditional training in painting, she devoted herself to composition and the study of color theory. Her paintings, even large-scale ones, aim to express feelings and emotions through the viewer's perception. The artist has exhibited in Italy and internationally since 1995. In recent years, she has embraced digital media, creating projects that focus on social and contemporary issues.

ARTWORK STORY

The raw umber pigments and transitions to black create overlapping broad brush strokes. A cold, layered earth. Between the intersections, a small red surface. A lost, solitary, yet vibrant red. It's an evocative abstraction of the urban and desolate environments, even those on the outskirts, that arise in cold areas.
