ABOUT THE ARTIST

Alessandra Bisi is an abstract painter. After traditional training in painting, she devoted herself to composition and the study of color theory. Her paintings, even large-scale ones, aim to express feelings and emotions through the viewer's perception. The artist has exhibited in Italy and internationally since 1995. In recent years, she has embraced digital media, creating projects that focus on social and contemporary issues.

ARTWORK STORY

Il pigmento sulla carta crea risultati corposi, vellutati e densamente opachi. Non è come la tempera. E' sgargiante e nello stesso tempo polveroso. Per realizzare queste opere in cui il pigmento diviene parte del supporto, occorrono procedimenti fissativi particolari. L'esito, oltre alla qualità del colore, è il cristallizzarsi dei segni e dei disegni come se fossero sempre appena eseguiti. Questa composizione evoca per l'artista la liberazione delle proprie memorie.
