ABOUT THE ARTIST

Harald Beierl is a German painter and draftsman born in 1969. Deeply committed to equality and a fair future, his work explores the fragility of our world through symbolic imagery, such as ladders (consciousness) and hearts (love). A pivotal artist residency in Hungary marked his transition from amateur to professional, refining his intuitive and detail-oriented approach. Beierl has exhibited in Germany, Hungary, and Italy, including at the Florence Biennale.

ARTWORK STORY

Die Sonne scheint, es ist ein fröhlicher Tag, und plötzlich da: Drei Zwerge sitzen im Gras. Sie sind so versteckt, daß nur ihre Mützen aus dem hohen Gras hervorbliblicken. Was Magen diese drei Zwerge da wohl machen? Haben sie ein Meeting, plaudern sie nur? Sind sie fröhlich und warum haben sie sich getroffen. Über all den Fragen scheint die Sonne als Symbol für die Unendlichkeit der Liebe und des Universums.
