ABOUT THE ARTIST

Patrick Cornée is a French painter and sculptor whose work has been exhibited internationally, including in China, Russia, England, and France. Inspired by Andy Warhol and the Pop Art movement, his works are vibrant, full of color, and feature humorous characters and perspectives. Cornée aims to evoke joy, energy, and a love of life through his paintings and sculptures.

ARTWORK STORY

In this work, I sought to fuse the iconic and the contemporary using acrylic and resin on Plexiglas. I exploit assemblage to materialise a visual dialogue between classicism and modern daring. Each brush stroke and vivid colour celebrates freedom of expression and individuality, capturing an essence of joy and dynamism that will resonate in every space where it is displayed.
