ABOUT THE ARTIST

Alfio Sacco, trained in art and lithography between Catania and Zurich, is a photographer and former photolithographer. Working with photography and décollage, he explores the city’s hidden layers through a style that is both swift and reflective, poetic yet critical, revealing forgotten realities of the urban landscape.

ARTWORK STORY

Urban Peelings reveals the hidden beauty of city walls: peeling paint, faded posters, graffiti, and textures shaped by time. These overlooked surfaces become visual records of urban life, captured in detailed Pigment Giclée prints on Hahnemühle paper with linden frames and UV-protective glass.
