Waiting for summer 1

Johannes Wessmark is a Swedish hyperrealist painter whose work explores the visual and emotional tension between water, light, and the human form. Working primarily in acrylic and oil on canvas, Wessmark builds his paintings through numerous controlled layers, transforming fleeting photographic moments into highly detailed, carefully composed images. His realism is not intended merely to reproduce what the camera sees, but to intensify atmosphere, surface and physical presence.
