Harmeet Singh is an Indian contemporary artist based in New Chandigarh.
Works in Watercolrs and Acrylic. His practice examines how structure and instability coexist within the painted surface. Across both mediums, the work stages a sustained negotiation between containment and release — watercolour through diffusion and absorption, acrylic through resistance and density. Each painting develops through repetition, interruption, and recalibration, allowing form to emerge gradually rather than through assertion.
His works do not function symbolically, they operate perceptually. Fields of colour, gestural arcs, and spatial thresholds construct environments that unfold over time, where looking becomes an active and durational process.
