Ramon Bruin is an experienced artist from the Netherlands whose paintings have been featured in solo and group shows internationally. Working in the styles of abstract-expressionism and pop art, Bruin creates vibrant paintings in mixed media that emphasize contrasts between colors and forms. He adds a light sense of humor to his artworks, hoping to bring joy to viewers.

ARTWORK STORY

This painting is a stunning artwork of an expressionistic still life. Perhaps two styles with a huge contrast. I intended bold brush strokes, bright colors and wild spray paints into a really breathtaking composition. To me this is pure therapy. It clears my head and I am happy when I painting. And because I am also slightly sarcastic I came up with the title Therapy Was Too Expensive. This is a 200 x 200 cm painting. Massive, but so good!
