Sky in the Shallows

Angela Moiseieva is a contemporary painter based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Working primarily in oil and watercolor, she creates landscapes and botanical works inspired by places she has personally experienced. Her paintings explore light, atmosphere, memory, and the quiet emotional presence of nature. Rather than reproducing a place exactly, she focuses on preserving the feeling of being there. Through layered color, expressive brushwork, and careful attention to light, she creates contemplative works that invite the viewer to slow down and connect with the natural world.
