"Jean-Noël Le Junter is a French semi-figurative artist whose artistic approach combines technical mastery with emotional exploration.[..] He is particularly interested in the landscapes and ports of southern France, nudes, bulls, and Sevillanas dancers. Each work begins with preparatory sketches and watercolors created from life or after a model, which he then transposes into oil paintings in his studio. His artistic goal is not to reproduce reality, but to capture an atmosphere, a feeling. He simplifies this reality to extract its essence, while giving primary importance to color, his main medium of expression. […] His works, found in some thirty countries, are featured in several books on contemporary painting, notably *Peintres et couleurs du Salagou* (2017) / *Le Grand Montpellier et ses Peintres* (2018) / *Peintres de la Garrigue, des Cévennes et des Causses* (2019) / *Peintres du Golfe du Lion* (2020) / *Peintres d’Occitanie* (2022) / *Mots et Merveilles d’Occitanie* (2024)/
