I'm Jennifer. I paint enchanted light, and I am passionate about creating enraptured stillness and space in the homes of my collectors.
My work is a meditation on my own connection to the majesty of the natural world, to the power of being alive. I am a recent cancer survivor, and my latest body of work reflects the light I sought at the end of the tunnel, the light I capture from the natural world and transmute into my paintings. My work is a literal expression of my own will to thrive and live, even through the most intense suffering. I consider myself a bearer of the light.
My paintings are an ode to life, to becoming, and to majesty. They are a reminder to take a moment to release the trappings of the mundane, to look up, down, far, and close. To be still.
My paintings are made to call you home.
Home to yourself, to your own space of light.
I earned my degree at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, studying under my mentor, Jack Youngerman. My paintings have been exhibited in Europe and the United States, and are part of private collections in 18 countries around the world.
I also create bespoke commissions.
I have been featured in Galerie Magazine, Elle Décor, and Traditional Home Magazine.
My studios are located in the majestic mountains of northern Italy and in the Colorado Rockies.
