Montagne Rocheuse 18 – 2012

I am a painter living and working in Paris since 1979. My work, both instinctive and sensitive, has been shaped between Colombia, where I grew up, and a path in fashion before fully returning to painting. I explore the space between abstraction and figuration, seeking to capture fleeting emotions through color and light. Inspired by nature, human presence, and memory, I create works that are both intimate and timeless. Working primarily in oil, my layered technique reflects a slow, meditative process through which I aim to reveal the poetic intensity of the ephemeral.
