Metaphysical Nocturne in Stardust

Ovidiu Kloska is a Romanian contemporary artist whose practice moves between large-scale abstract painting and welded metal sculpture. His work explores psychological tension, fragility, transformation, and the unstable relationship between matter and emotion. Through layered painterly surfaces and raw industrial materials, he creates immersive works suspended between abstraction and figuration, brutality and vulnerability, collapse and transcendence. Deeply influenced by memory, dreams, spiritual symbolism, and the physicality of materials, Kloska develops a visual language where gesture, texture, and atmosphere become carriers of emotional intensity. His paintings often evoke cinematic inner landscapes, while his sculptural works extend these tensions into space through dynamic brutalist forms and organic movement.
