ABOUT THE ARTIST

Ramon Bruin is an experienced artist from the Netherlands whose paintings have been featured in solo and group shows internationally. Working in the styles of abstract-expressionism and pop art, Bruin creates vibrant paintings in mixed media that emphasize contrasts between colors and forms. He adds a light sense of humor to his artworks, hoping to bring joy to viewers.

ARTWORK STORY

The baddest story of them all! God Mode Trilogy is a triptych painting inspired by the history of humans, how we roam the earth and not always in a good way. We live as kings and queens and sometimes see ourselves as gods. I painted this story from a very abstract and sarcastic point of view. The left painting has sort of a male king, the middle one a female queen and the right painting devilish figures. There are several items which reminds us of the consumption society we created.
