Natalia Kameneva is a contemporary artist born in Kyiv and raised in Germany. Her connection to art and nature began in childhood, inspired by forests, flowers, and the beauty of the natural world.
After studying engineering at the University of Stuttgart, Natalia spent many years working as a development engineer in the automotive industry. Throughout this period, her path repeatedly led her to the mountains, where she rediscovered her connection to nature and a deeper sense of herself.
In 2024, she returned to painting and began transforming personal experiences, thoughts, and emotions into visual narratives. Her Swan Series, comprising more than ninety paintings, explores themes of identity, self-worth, transformation, and personal growth. In 2026, she completed an intensive period of artistic study at the Milan Art Institute, further developing her knowledge of drawing, anatomy, colour, composition, and mixed media.
Today, Natalia lives and works as a freelance artist in the Canton of Grisons, Switzerland. Her work combines classical and mythological references with vivid contemporary colour, strong graphic elements, and cosmic imagery. Her David Series explores courage, vulnerability, resilience, and the archetype of the hero.
Across her work, Natalia seeks to transform personal experiences into universal stories about change, inner strength, and the courage to forge a new path. Alongside her visual art, she is creating a book, David gegen Goliath (David vs. Goliath), documenting her own experiences and transformation. For her, images and words are two forms of the same story.
