A graduate in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca and in Audiovisual Communication from
the University of Burgos, he has received an outstanding academic education, complemented by
experience abroad thanks to Erasmus scholarships he undertook in Portugal and Belgium.
His artistic practice focuses primarily on oil, acrylic, watercolour and paper, through which he
creates paintings, drawings and collages. His style is characterised by a rich, vivid and expressive
colour palette, as well as a plastic compositional style, with dynamic and unusual perspectives,
influenced by his passion for analogue photography.
The themes he addresses in his works are “landscapes, still lifes and portraits… that’s all”
, to quote
David Hockney’s famous phrase. Although his work is rooted in figurative representation, he has
recently begun experimenting with geometric abstraction, always on large and expansive canvases.
