ABOUT THE ARTIST

Maria is a contemporary urban-funky artist with a very distinctive style who lives and works in London. She was born in Florence and moved to London in 2001 in search of an adventure. The same year Maria discovered her love for painting and decided to stay in this wonderful city, for good. In 2007 she become a full time artist. Her work is about an imaginary world in a parallel dimension with UFOs, television people and hidden messages. Each piece is unique and one of a kind. The painting is part of Maria's oldest and most playful collection called Laundry Televisions. Have fun looking for objects, clothes that perhaps belong to you. You will also find little TV people hanging on the washing lines together with message and words. The background is very colourful and vibrant.
