Plattenburg

Per Gulden is a German artist whose multidisciplinary practice encompasses painting, experimental film, photography, text and exhibition design. He studied at the Berlin University of the Arts and emerged from the intellectually vibrant artistic milieu of 1980s West Berlin, where encounters with contemporary art, cinema and critical theory – including the first ‘Anti-Oedipus’ reading group organised by Merve Verlag – shaped his artistic vision.
