ABOUT THE ARTIST

I am Nathalie Gribinski, a French-American artist based in Chicago. My work is driven by intuition, movement, and a deep love of color. Using oil markers and acrylics, I create playful, rhythmic worlds where figures, animals, and symbols dance freely. Inspired by music, nature, and inner emotion, my paintings celebrate joy, connection, and the poetry of life in constant motion.

ARTWORK STORY

This painting is constructed through dense, looping line work layered over saturated color fields, creating a vibrating, almost cartographic surface. Circular forms and red orbs punctuate the composition like pulses or signals within a larger energetic system. Influenced by music, automatic drawing, and inner landscapes, the process favors accumulation and repetition, allowing emotion, rhythm, and subconscious imagery to surface through continuous gesture rather than planned structure.
