L’Arte C’è! – IV Atto

Arsen Ale is an artist with an atypical path, which for those who see art as the main road followed by alternative feelings and thoughts to the "status quo," is simply the most typical path an artist can follow, especially if, like him, one favors conceptual art and considers the medium used primarily as a means, not an end. As he himself says, even if he wanted to try, he would find it extremely difficult to express the complexity of the contemporary world and its complex issues without drawing on every element he can find along the way, without exception, focusing on the end and not the means. He has a technical-entrepreneurial background. Poetry and a touch of ethics have been ingrained in him since birth, as have creativity and inventiveness: all things that aren't very helpful in this society, and so he took to the streets, or rather, from the vehicle he found himself in, he searched his map for the path to art and took it, since he believes it's the only path that leads to true progress and Arsen Ale has always had faith in humanity and progress, which in turn is the only tangible weapon humanity has to understand something more about the mystery that surrounds us. It will be a very long journey, if he has the bread, shoes, and heart to do it, many works to install, in the real world or the virtual one. The important thing is that they can provoke reflection, not in the very trendy sense, however, made up of many "mirror reflections," with the iPhone "cam" as inspiration, probably due to a lack of personal feeling, or perhaps too much affluence, the kind that leads to art because perhaps one didn't know where else to go, as if it were a lifelong weekend spent at the seaside, while an increasingly large segment of society remains secluded in the city. No, the artist isn't aiming for this kind of reflection, but rather the kind of reflection that leads one to want to make an impact, to try to change something, as art, which is the guardian of society just as the police are the guardian of the established order, should do, at least every now and then.
