Sunset Bloobs

Paintings of light, colour and connection. Vibrant oil paintings inspired by those often fleeting moments when light transforms a landscape; sunlight dappling through trees, reflections shimmering on water, the warmth of golden hour, or the intensity of a sunset. Moments when an ordinary scene suddenly feels special, that make you pause to take it all in. Those moments that make you feel truly present and connected with nature. Through colour, movement and energetic brushwork Rob captures not simply how a place looks, but how it feels to be there in that place and at that moment. Look closely and you'll find two hidden hearts woven into the composition of each painting, that has become a signature in his work. One represents our essential connection with the natural world. The other, the connection between the painting and the viewer. Rob is a British artist living and painting in the foothills of the Chilterns, where the changing light, colour and energy of the surroundings inspire much of his collection.
