Ramon Bruin is an experienced artist from the Netherlands whose paintings have been featured in solo and group shows internationally. Working in the styles of abstract-expressionism and pop art, Bruin creates vibrant paintings in mixed media that emphasize contrasts between colors and forms. ARTWORK STORY

SNAFU is an acronym that is widely used to stand for the sarcastic expression Situation Normal: All Fucked Up. I love the sarcasm in this title and the bold contrast it brings with the painting. The painting itself looks a bit jolly or happy. It is a mix of funny figures and happy thoughts. All blended together it becomes pure Snafu. This is a 78,74" x 78,74" or 200 x 200 cm painting. A huge painting which is most definitely a neck turner.
