ARTWORK PURCHASES, RETURNS AND DISPUTES

  1. New Art Day’s Role

New Art Day is a curated artist promotion platform.

New Art Day does not sell artworks, process payments, collect commissions, act as an agent, or become a party to any transaction between an Artist and a buyer.

All artwork purchases are negotiated and concluded directly between the Artist and the buyer.

As a result, New Art Day does not operate a return program and does not process refunds relating to artwork purchases.

  1. Returns and Refunds

Any return, exchange, cancellation, refund request, warranty claim, or other post-sale matter relating to an artwork must be addressed directly between the buyer and the Artist.

Each Artist remains free to determine their own policies regarding:

  • returns;
  • exchanges;
  • cancellations;
  • refunds;
  • shipping arrangements;
  • warranties.

Buyers are encouraged to discuss these matters with the Artist before completing a purchase.

  1. Damaged Artwork

If an artwork arrives damaged, buyers should contact the Artist directly as soon as possible and provide all relevant information, including photographs of:

  • the artwork;
  • the packaging;
  • any visible damage.

Responsibility for resolving shipping-related issues remains with the Artist and the buyer.

  1. Misrepresented Artwork

If a buyer believes that an artwork differs materially from the description provided by the Artist, the buyer should contact the Artist directly to seek an appropriate resolution.

Artists are solely responsible for the accuracy of their artwork descriptions and representations.

  1. Shipping Costs

Shipping arrangements, shipping costs, insurance, customs duties, taxes, and return shipping costs are determined exclusively between the Artist and the buyer.

New Art Day has no involvement in shipping arrangements and assumes no responsibility for shipping-related issues.

  1. Disputes

Any dispute arising from an artwork transaction must be resolved directly between the Artist and the buyer.

New Art Day is not obligated to investigate, mediate, arbitrate, or resolve disputes relating to artwork transactions.

However, New Art Day reserves the right to review complaints concerning Artists and may, at its sole discretion, take action regarding an Artist’s participation on the platform if repeated or serious issues are brought to our attention.

Questions regarding an artwork purchase, return request, refund request, shipping issue, or dispute should be directed to the Artist through the contact information provided on the Artist’s profile page.
