Photographer and painter Carlos Arriaga blends photography and oil on textured canvases, creating ethereal works that explore the shifting relationship between city and nature. ARTWORK STORY

Using a self-developed technique, this work combines oil and pencil on black and white photographic grisaille. Inverted lights and colors create a dreamlike world, where thick textures and painterly strokes transform photography into a unique, expressive landscape.
