Winter light over the Mézenc

Auvergne landscape, France. What I sought to capture here is the melancholy of winter. There is no drama, no storm, just the silent weight of this mass of gray-blue clouds pressing down on the landscape, imposing this diffuse light, without cast shadows. Along the path, a few crooked fence posts speak of the fragility of human presence in the solitude of this rugged, wild, and preserved Mézenc massif. This artwork will be delivered ready to hang.
