ABOUT THE ARTIST

Ramon Bruin is an experienced artist from the Netherlands whose paintings have been featured in solo and group shows internationally. Working in the styles of abstract-expressionism and pop art, Bruin creates vibrant paintings in mixed media that emphasize contrasts between colors and forms. He adds a light sense of humor to his artworks, hoping to bring joy to viewers.

ARTWORK STORY

An energetic composition of wild flowers. The dripping paints gives a sense of drama in contrast to the bright colors. I used a variety acrylic paints, spray paints and acrylic pens. All blend together to create a mesmerizing composition. A neo-expressionistic style, combined with pop art and abstract expressionism on a massive 78.74" x 78.74" (200 x 200 cm) canvas.
