ABOUT THE ARTIST

My name is Ute Laum and I am a professional artist, living and working in Germany. My favorite themes are the special nature and my surrounding in Northern Germany. My preferred working method is acrylic on canvas in a semi abstract way. I paint abstractly and thus reflect moments of memory and impressions in my works, but also leave the viewer room for contemplation. My works are to be found in private collections in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Great Britain, France, Italy, Greece, Spain, Israel, the USA, Canada and in the United Arab Emirates.

ARTWORK STORY

"The Paths of Water" is an abstract painting, a heartfelt homage to the serene beauty of the Northern landscape. Blue-green hues evoke the essence of water, the ebb and flow of coastal life, and perhaps the tranquil paths found in a seascape during autumn.The painting is varnished with a matte finish, providing UV protection to preserve the vibrancy of the colors for years to come. The sides are also painted, so no additional framing is required.The painting will be shipped in a crate.
