ABOUT THE ARTIST
Antony Squizzato is a contemporary French painter and multidisciplinary artist known for his distinctive visual language, which he calls “New Constructivism.” After 15 years as a creative director in digital marketing, he shifted in 2014 to focus fully on his artistic practice.
His work explores the paradoxes of modern life—individual and collective, emotion and structure—through bold flat colors, geometric forms, and a fusion of Pop Art, Cubism, Bauhaus, and Suprematism influences. Organized in thematic series, his paintings range from precise, architecture-inspired compositions to raw, expressive portraits and abstract scenes.
Balancing traditional painting techniques with digital experimentation, Squizzato seeks to make emotion prevail over method, creating art that feels both classical and contemporary. Since 2015, his work has been regularly exhibited and included in private collections worldwide.

ARTWORK STORY
Spring Lovers is part of Antony Squizzato’s series Le Baiser, which reinterprets Brancusi’s iconic works from 1907. Across various mediums (watercolor, ink on paper, acrylic on canvas, mural frescoes, and interactive installations), the artist explores the concept of the couple in contemporary society. Drawing on a personal visual language developed over years of practice, his work emphasizes functional form, purity, and minimalism, a style he refers to as "new constructivism."
