ABOUT THE ARTIST

My name is Ute Laum and I am a professional artist, living and working in Germany. My favorite themes are the special nature and my surrounding in Northern Germany. My preferred working method is acrylic on canvas in a semi abstract way. I paint abstractly and thus reflect moments of memory and impressions in my works, but also leave the viewer room for contemplation. My works are to be found in private collections in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Great Britain, France, Italy, Greece, Spain, Israel, the USA, Canada and in the United Arab Emirates.

ARTWORK STORY

"Sparks," an original abstract painting, captures the essence of northern nature as the year draws to a close. The expressionistic fire of autumn is rendered in highly pigmented acrylics on a quality canvas. The sides are painted, and the artwork is varnished with a matte finish that includes UV protection. It is ready to hang and does not require framing. The artwork will be shipped in a wooden crate.
