Exhibited across the U.S. and Europe, his work blends natural elements into a ‘new natural reality.’ Vega handcrafts his frames, paints, and clay, grinding pigments with water and binding them with resins—melding artistry with alchemy.

ARTWORK STORY

Esta obra está inspirada en las salinas, como las salinas de San Francisco o las del Suría, en España. La sal contenida en el agua del mar se seca por efecto del sol y del aire. Dependiendo del grado de salinidad del agua estancada se pueden desarrollar cultivos de cianobacterias que muestran colores que pueden oscilar entre el azul y el violeta, convirtiendo la superficie del agua en un auténtico espectáculo de color y belleza.
