Ramon Bruin is an experienced artist from the Netherlands whose paintings have been featured in solo and group shows internationally. Working in the styles of abstract-expressionism and pop art, Bruin creates vibrant paintings in mixed media that emphasize contrasts between colors and forms. ARTWORK STORY

Copperhead is a portrait. Perhaps a disorientated person, or a bit drunk. I named him copperhead because of the copper paint I used in the eyes. The style is a blend of neo-expressionism, neo-pop art and abstract-expressionism This is a 39,37" x 39,37" or 100 x 100 cm painting. It made on museum quality stretched canvas and it is ready to hang. I created this painting with really thick layers of paints, of different kinds.
