Award-winning Spanish artist Pin Vega brings the unseen forces of nature to life through painting and sculpture. Exhibited across the U.S. and Europe, his work blends natural elements into a ‘new natural reality.’ Vega handcrafts his frames, paints, and clay, grinding pigments with water and binding them with resins—melding artistry with alchemy.

ARTWORK STORY

Esta obra está pintada con un pigmento negro con un 99 por ciento de absorción de luz. La obra está segmentada por un corte longitudinal de tres milímetros de grosor que gracias al efecto de un espejo de metacrilato situado en la parte trasera de la obra, refleja la luz y al espectador únicamente cuando contempla la obra desde el centro exacto. Cada parte de la obra representa un hemisferio del cerebro humano y en el centro, la luz como simbología de la intelectualidad y el saber.
