Ramon Bruin is an experienced artist from the Netherlands whose paintings have been featured in solo and group shows internationally. Working in the styles of abstract-expressionism and pop art, Bruin creates vibrant paintings in mixed media that emphasize contrasts between colors and forms. ARTWORK STORY

This a self portrait. I was going true a real hard time due to illness of those I love. But we never gave up. I never gave up. So with a heavy heart I still pick the prettiest flower in the melancholic meadow.
