ABOUT THE ARTIST

Ramon Bruin is an experienced artist from the Netherlands whose paintings have been featured in solo and group shows internationally. Working in the styles of abstract-expressionism and pop art, Bruin creates vibrant paintings in mixed media that emphasize contrasts between colors and forms. He adds a light sense of humor to his artworks, hoping to bring joy to viewers.

ARTWORK STORY

I focussed during the creation of this painting on creating a composition build out of shapes and beautiful colors. 1with special attention I applied contrast between these shapes and color. Where there is a warm color I added a cold contrast color and slowly made the painting come to life. And because of all the shapes and effect this painting catches your eye and makes it swirl around the composition. The style is a blend of abstract-expressionism, streetart, neo-expressionsim and neo-popart
