ABOUT THE ARTIST

Oleksii Gnievyshev is a highly professional artist and master of realistic painting. He was born in 1991 in Ukraine. He successfully graduated from the Kyiv Academy of Arts and studied for five years under the private tutelage of teacher Volodymyr Bahalika. Since 2014, he has lived and worked in Brühl, Germany. His works are held in private collections and museums around the world.

ARTWORK STORY

In this oil painting, I sought to capture the complexity of human emotion through a stark, realistic portrayal. Each stroke embodies a detailed expression, emphasizing raw, unfiltered humanity. Her gaze, intense and alluring, invites onlookers to a silent dialogue about resilience and depth of character. I painted this piece for my book, which I recently finished writing and am currently editing. Gamma is a girl from my dreams, and she plays a key role in the storyline of "Snovid's Diary."
